Frequently Asked Questions
What are the primary applications of the MQT pneumatic bolt drill?
The MQT type pneumatic bolt drill is designed mainly for coal roadway and rock roadway bolting in coal mines with a rock hardness of ≤f10. It is ideal for anchor cable support drilling, as well as the mixing and installation of resin bolts and anchor cables.
How does the MQT bolt drill simplify the resin bolt installation process?
For bolts equipped with a damping nut, the MQT bolt drill allows the operator to tighten the nut directly during the mixing phase. This enables resin bolt mixing and installation to be completed in a single, efficient operation while meeting the initial anchor preload specifications.
What structural materials make the machine lightweight and safe?
The drill uses advanced engineering plastic materials for its body to minimize weight and improve operational handling. Additionally, the propulsion section features a new fiberglass cylinder, which is lightweight, flexible, safe, and explosion-proof.
Can the drill operate under high-pressure water conditions?
Yes. The drill incorporates special water valve technology that allows it to easily adapt to the ultra-high surface static pressure water commonly encountered in coal mining environments.
What are the differences in weight and torque among the MQT models?
The series includes three models: the MQT110 (48 Kg, 110 N.m rated torque), the MQT120 (52 Kg, 120 N.m rated torque), and the MQT130 (54 Kg, 130 N.m rated torque), providing different choices depending on power requirements.
What is the air consumption rate for these pneumatic drills?
The air consumption rates are highly efficient: ≤3.8 m³/min for the MQT110, ≤4.2 m³/min for the MQT120, and ≤4.4 m³/min for the MQT130, under a rated operating pressure of 0.5 MPa.
